Last updated: January 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Stalker (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with our website and when you purchase, download, install, or use the Stalker desktop trading application (“Software” or “Stalker”).
We distinguish clearly between website activity and application usage. The Software itself is designed to operate locally on your machine, with minimal and purpose-limited communication to our servers.

This data is used solely to improve the website and understand aggregate traffic patterns. Website analytics data is subject to the privacy policies of the analytics providers and does not include trading data or application usage.

- License delivery
- Download access
- Account-related communication

We do not collect additional personal information beyond what is required for purchase and licensing.
3. API Keys, Trading Data, and Application Credentials
The Software does not collect, transmit, or provide us access to:

- Exchange account credentials
- Wallet addresses
- Trades, balances, positions, or order history

All trading activity and related data are stored and processed locally on your device only.

4. Local Encryption and Data Security
All sensitive data used by the Software, including:
- Exchange API keys
- Optional SMTP credentials for email alerts
- Application configuration data
is stored locally on your device and encrypted using industry-standard encryption.
Encryption is tied to your application password. We do not know this password and cannot decrypt your data, even if requested or compelled. Application passwords and encryption keys are non-recoverable.
If access is lost, the only recovery option is to reset the application and reconfigure it from a fresh setup.

- Critical application or policy updates
These communications are essential to account operation and cannot be unsubscribed from.
We do not send promotional or marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in to a separate newsletter or marketing list. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect essential account emails.
7. Payment Processing
All payments are handled by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, Paddle, Gumroad, or similar).
We do not store or process payment details such as credit card numbers or billing information. Payment processors’ privacy policies apply to checkout data.
8. Application Communication With Our Servers
The Software performs minimal and limited communication with our servers for the following purposes only:

No API keys, passwords, trading data, or sensitive credentials are transmitted during these communications.

No personally identifiable information, exchange identifiers, credentials, or sensitive data is shared.
If you opt out:
- Your leaderboard data is automatically deleted
- Your ranking and historical leaderboard entries are removed
10. License Validation and Machine Fingerprinting
To prevent license abuse, we may generate a non-reversible hashed fingerprint of your machine during license validation.
This fingerprint:
- Is used only to track license usage across machines
- Does not contain personal, financial, or sensitive information
- Cannot be used to identify you outside of license enforcement
11. Children’s Privacy
The Software is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
